Matters Arising from Last Minutes

Finance Review
Only income from 100 Club, approx. £270. School happy with arrangements. PayPal appears to be working well.
Planned Projects
Forest School
Quote from Highline for £1600 and approved by school. Some additional works to be included. Canopy ready and in school. Will hopefully happen before Christmas.
Bike Shelters
Approval from CLF so will happen incl. some scooter storage in the reception area as well. Some additional WOW (North Somerset) funding and grants to enable the project.
Christmas Tree
Tree has been organised via Clive’s Trees at £100. Scheme will happen whereby PTFA benefits £5 on every £25 tree.
Calendar of Events
Textile donations
On Tuesday. By large flowerbed on Ellesmere Road. Will be in place from 7am. Need to be deposited by 9:15. Processed by weight, so shoes are a good choice. No logo school clothing.
Class Crafts
Now no parents in school. So instead may look at doing Christmas cards, bags and tea towels.
Secret Santa
Can still happen but all will need to be pre-wrapped. Need volunteers for wrapping. TB to look into whether we can pay and gather information. £2 and everyone gets two. Anyone who doesn’t respond or pay will still qualify. TB to arrange leaflet and comms.
Dress Down Day
Still happening. Donation to fund Class Christmas Party. Then we can provide a class box of stuff for party (w/c 14th December) i.e. £30 per class. Lana suggested seeing if local businesses could provide party boxes for example. Kate going to speak to manager at the Wharf to see if they were interested. Churchill free Santa hats for class parties.
Raffle
Need to check with Lizy as to what progress there has been. Think about how to make it operate and remain compliant with our restrictions under the lottery licence.
School Meeting
Steve asked about CLF impacts. TB responded to note their should be limited immediate outward changes visible and that other changes if they occur will come in gradually.
